What You Can Show

Content Built for the Spaces Your Guests Pass Through

Start from a template or build your own slides, then preview a playlist in your browser before it reaches a single screen.

Images and Video

Build playlists from images and videos, with a display time and a transition for each slide.

Custom HTML Slides

Add your own web (HTML) pages when a slide needs more than a picture.

Ready-Made Templates

Ready-made layouts for welcome, promotion, food and drink, activity and emergency slides.

Layouts

Full screen, L-bar with a ticker along the bottom, multi-zone, split horizontally or vertically, and picture-in-picture.

QR Codes and Buttons

A QR code on any slide with a label, size and position, such as “Scan to order from your seat”, plus call-to-action buttons.

Widgets

Clock and date for any time zone, weather, QR code and a news ticker.

Languages

Write slide text in several languages. Each screen shows the language its device is set to, for example Greek or English.

Branding

Set brand colours and a logo for each playlist.

Portrait or Landscape

Landscape, portrait and upside-down mountings: the player turns the picture to match.

Portrait Totems

Portrait totems get their own 9:16 version of the content.

Screen Groups

Group screens by area, such as totems, corridors and lounges, with content and schedules for each group.

Preview First

Preview any playlist in landscape or portrait before it goes on the screens.

Scheduling

Screens That Follow Your Day

Breakfast menus in the morning, spa offers in the afternoon, the evening programme at night. Schedule each playlist once, and let the screens change on their own.

See It in a Demo

Days and Times

Schedule by day of the week and time of day, with optional start and end dates and days to skip.

Priorities

Set priorities for overlapping schedules, and check what a screen will play on any day.

Chosen Screens

Aim each schedule at a single screen or at a whole screen group.

Scenes and Triggers

One press switches every screen in the venue: Pre-event, Live, Interval and Exit, with separate landscape and portrait versions. A trigger can replace a playlist and end on its own after a set time.

Safety

Emergency Broadcast

A full-screen alert with the operator’s message appears on every screen at once, and stays until it is cleared. An emergency playlist, such as exit routes, can play with it. Every alert is recorded in the audit log, with who sent it and when.

Screens and Control

Know What Every Screen Is Doing

Pair a screen with a code, keep it playing through a network drop, and see its status from the console.

Simple Pairing

The player is a web page the screen opens in its browser.

  • The screen shows a 6-digit code; staff enter it in the admin to add the screen and set its mounting
  • Name each screen and note where it is
  • Reload a screen or ask it for a status report from the console
  • See each screen's last seen time, player version, resolution and what it is playing

Keeps Playing

Screens download their content in advance.

  • Playback continues if the network drops
  • A fallback playlist for when nothing else can load
  • See whether each screen has received the latest content

Accountable

For the people who sign off what goes on screen.

  • Proof of play: which content played on which screen and when, by campaign, exported to CSV for sponsor reports
  • Every change, scene and emergency recorded: who made it and when
  • Only staff with signage rights can change content, switch scenes or send an emergency alert
  • Each property's screens and content kept separate
How It Works

From a Blank Screen to a Running Playlist

Open the Player

The screen's browser opens the player's address and shows a 6-digit pairing code.

Pair the Screen

Type the code into the VenusHub console, and give the screen a name and a location.

Build and Schedule

Create a playlist from templates, images, video or HTML, preview it, and schedule it.

Play and Report

Screens download the content and play it on schedule; play reports show what ran where.

Screen browsers differ from model to model, so we check your screens with you during set-up.

See It on Your Own Screens

Tell us about your spaces and your screens, and we'll show you signage running in the VenusHub console.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a separate signage system?
No. Signage is part of the VenusHub platform, and you manage it in the same admin console as the rest of the platform. It is offered with VenusHub installations rather than as a separate product.
Which screens can it run on?
The player is a web page that the screen opens in its browser. Browsers built into screens differ from model to model, so we check your screens with you during set-up.
What happens if the network drops?
Screens download their content in advance and keep playing through the drop. A fallback playlist covers the case where nothing else can load.
How quickly do changes reach the screens?
Content and schedule changes reach the screens within about five minutes. You can preview a playlist in your browser before it goes out.
Can I see what was played?
Yes. Play reports show what ran by campaign and by screen, and you can export them to CSV.
Who can change what is on screen?
Only staff with signage rights can change content, switch scenes or send an emergency alert. Every change, scene and emergency is recorded with who made it and when.
